1-2pm: The Faith Gap with Chris Heaslip
How churches and families can work together to build lasting faith in the next generation. Chris is Founder and CEO of Amazing Life, a passionate innovator helping churches connect faith formation with everyday life.
2-3pm: Engaging Youth with Cam Bennett
Discipling teenagers in today’s rapidly changing world. Cam leads youth Alive Australia and has a strong heart for encouraging faith in young people.
3-4pm Elective sessions EITHER Digital media and Discipleship with Dave Adamson
how churches can use technology, storytelling and digital engagement to extend discipleship to meaningful faith conversations online. Dave is a key leader at YouVersion & is passionate about using digital strategies to connect young people with God’s Word OR
Partnering with Parents with James Hunt.
practical strategies for empowering parents in nurturing their children’s spiritual formation. James leads children’s ministry within the Uniting Church and is passionate about helping kids build authentic faith, and ministry models which engage church and home.

1-2pm: Forming Faith with Matt Markins
Exploring how faith is intentionally shaped in the lives of children and young people beyond ‘Sunday programs’. Matt is CEO of Awana, equipping churches and families to develop resilient and lifelong faith in the next generation.
2-3pm First elective session. Either Discipleship starts with me. Presented by Beth Cunningham
Challenging us to examine our own spiritual formation, and learn how authentic discipleship is the foundation for influencing children, young people, families and ministry teams. Beth is Kids Pastor at Church of the Highlands & Vice President of North America for One Hope. She is known for building teams and creating environments so children and families can thrive in their faith.
OR Discipling the next generation with Vince Parker
practical ways to help young people move to genuine ownership of their faith. Vince leads youth ministry at Life Church.

3-4pm Second elective. EITHER Understanding Indigenous culture with Josh Lane
valuable insights and resources for fostering cultural connection and support. Josh is a community leader with extensive experience in chaplaincy and indigenous youth ministry. He is First Nations Cultural Lead with SU Australia.
OR Practical engagement of students with special needs with Cheryl Clendinning
practical methods and inclusive strategies in teaching SRE. Cheryl is an experienced teacher, SRE trainer and SRE teacher for over 35 years in both primary and secondary schools; she is an ordained pastor. She also helped write the GodSpace Curriculum between 2006-2020.
