Keynote / Plenary Speakers
Terry Williams
Terry served on the Scripture Union staff team for 42 years and has a huge heart for all young people. He has invested much of his ministry life into partnering initiatives (here2stay.org, global sports movement, Global Children's Forum and Global Family Alliance) as he believes that by working together we can achieve so much more. As a part of his ministry, Terry has run training workshops in more than 50 countries.
Terry and his wife Marg have three adult children and six grandchildren (who affectionately call him "Pa").
Chris O'Gorman
Chris grew up in Brisbane and trained as a Maths/Science teacher at University of Queensland then she taught for three years in the government system in Ipswich and Gayndah.
Chris joined the staff of Scripture Union Qld in 1984 and worked there for 12 years, co-ordinating Christian groups in schools, running vacation camps, liaising with local churches and supporting SU Chaplains.
Chris then taught Maths, Science and Christian Education at Brisbane Boys’ College for 11years and was a Head of House.
From 2007 to 2024, Chris was appointed as Senior Chaplain at Somerville House, where she taught Christian Education, took Chapel Services and was engaged in pastoral care amongst other things.
Chris is passionate about evangelism and apologetics. Her life and ministry is driven by the motto “Know Jesus and make Him Known”.
